Second Test Match – Australia vs. India

In the first Inning of this Second Test Match, India had a good start. India took early wickets. They looked to dominate the Match and set for a win. But unfortunately, thanks to bad umpiring decisions, India lost the Match.

Andrew Symonds who nicked the ball was not given out by umpire Steve Buckner. Symonds went ahead and made a big score and got the Australian Team to a very safe position. The flaws by the umpires continued even in the Second Innings. Very important players like Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly were declared out in a very controversial way. Despite the centuries from Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman India lost the Test Match. At one stage, India looked to tie up the game. The bowling efforts of Australia wrapped up the Indian batting tail in the last few minutes of the Match and won the game.

Australia lead the series by 2-0. Hope to see some entertaining Cricket in the Matches to come.
