The crowd of Adelaide, the hometown of Sir Donald Bradman witnessed a blistering determined century from the Bombay bomber. Sachin Tendulkar took almost 18 balls to get off mark. When he did so, it was a superb straight drive in the balling off Bret Lee which resulted in 4 runs. And from there none of the Australian bowlers could match up to the charisma of Sachin. The batting maestro treated the gentle Adelaide crowd with firework.

Adelaide is the hometown of legendary Sir Donald Bradman. Sir Donald Bradman has always said during his time that Sachin is his favorite player and he always compared his playing standard with Sachin’s standard. Adelaide crowd just witnessed why Sir Donald compared himself and Sachin Tendulkar. It was a crucial century for Sachin also. Probably this is the last time that he is touring Australia and getting a ton at this juncture would be a great satisfaction to the Master Batsman.

Sachin himself in a press conference said that he was excited about the century and concentrated very hard to get to the three figures in the legend’s hometown. Probably this is the way that Sachin is tributing to one of the veterans of the game.

Sachin scored 153 runs out of 205 balls and ensured India bags a respectable total, in a friendly flat Adelaide ground.
