Mumbai misses its greatest son
Mumbai Indians misses its greatest son – Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin who leads Mumbai Indians and IPL matches is being missed by his team-mates in IPL matches. Mumbai Indians faced 2 strong teams – Bangalore Royal Challengers and Chennai Super Kings and lost by a whisker. This has come up as a huge set-back for the Mumbai Indians.
Sachin Tendulkar who has the accustom of playing cricket when he is 100% fit, restrained himself from playing the first 2 matches considering his fitness. He has decided to play in the very important third match against Kings XI Punjab. Sachin who celebrated his 35th birthday on April 24th would probably pick himself a belated birthday gift by winning the matches to come in a convincing fashion.
Mumbai Indians lack matured captaincy in both the matches played so far. Harbhajan Singh who took up the responsibilities from Sachin looked nervous and was not able to play cool captains roll. He expressed his anguish and disappointment throughout the game which is not suitable for a leadership. Mumbai Indians selectors should have named Jayasuriya or Shaun Pollock as the captain at the absence of Sachin Tendulkar. Naming Harbhajan as the captain turned out to be a big mistake.
