Devils take over Royals
The underdogs of the IPL (Indian Premier League), the Rajasthan Royals were defeated convincingly by the Delhi Daredevils at Ferozeshah Kotla (New Delhi). The lights of McGrath and Vettori devastated the Rajasthan Royals’ batting order which failed in all aspects of the game.

The Rajasthan Royals in its part of 20 overs scored 129 runs for the fall of 8 wickets. After posting such a modest total the Royals’ weak bowling attack failed to stop the easy run flow. Virendra Sehwag played a cameo Innings by smashing 3 boundaries in 3 balls and got out in the next delivery itself. He scored 12 runs. Gautham Gambhir of the Delhi Daredevils played a sensible knock by scoring 58 runs for 46 balls along with Dhawan who scored 52 runs from 41 balls. Both these players played sensible game by rotating the strike.
Delhi Daredevils were victorious within 15.1 overs for the loss of one wicket. Delhi Daredevils won by 9 wickets. Delhi Daredevils ended up with 132 runs for 1. M.F. Maharoof was declared the “Man of the Match”
