Chennai Super Kings beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by 13 runs
Chennai Super Kings headed by M.S. Dhoni has won 4 matches consecutively and remains unbeaten in the IPL Cricket played so far. Bangalore Royal Challengers faced their third defeat in the IPL Cricket.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. The openers P. Patel and M. Hayden scored 21 and 13 runs respectively. Hussey scored a brilliant knock of 47 runs off 37 balls (3 boundaries and 2 sixers). Suresh Raina scored a decent 28 runs off 17 balls (1 boundary and 2 sixers). The team’s skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni played a blasting knock of 65 runs off just 30 balls (9 boundaries and 3 sixers). At the end of 20 overs, the Chennai Super Kings made a total of 178 runs for the fall of 5 wickets. Zaheer Khan was successful in claiming 3 wickets and 1 wicket was grabbed by Praveen Kumar.
Chasing the target of 179 runs, the Bangalore Royal Challengers started their Innings. Wassim Jaffer and Ross Taylor scored half-century and gave a chance to achieve the target score. But most of the batsmen following them lost their wickets like a pack of cards including the team’s captain Rahul Dravid (0). At the end of 19.4 overs, the Bangalore Royal Challengers scored 165 runs for all out. Chennai Super Kings won the match by 13 runs and Dhoni was declared the Man of the Match.
