Cricket Update: Now let’s be honest, there are some sports out there that are much bigger and much more popular than others, especially in the betting industry. For example in America, their biggest sports are obviously American Football, Basketball and Baseball.

Head over to New Zealand and there biggest sport is Rugby Union but here in the UK it is hard to say, of course Football is the biggest sport but then there seems to be about a dozen other sports that people either love, or hate….one of those sports in question is Cricket.

From a personal point of view I can’t stand test cricket, it is too long, it is drawn out and is extremely boring and time consuming to watch a match, 5 days they can last and you’re not even guaranteed a winner. Twenty20 cricket on the other hand is a whole other ball game (No pun intended), it is fast, gripping, exciting and quick and every game almost guaranteed some exciting stuff.

For those of you are not aware, we have just witnessed a fantastic Twenty20 world competition held right here in England, of course the pressure was on England to win it in front of the home fans but as usual, the national team let us down and failed to win….again, just like in every sport we seem to play in.

The competition was still very fun to watch though as Pakistan and Sri Lanka battled it out in a fantastic final which Pakistan went on to win, and fully deserved it was aswell.
